About the Chef
Chef Pat had private classes with two of Strasbourg's premier dessert chefs, Mireille Oster, owner of Pain d'Epices , a small gingerbread shop, and Christophe, the renouned chocolatier at Christian. Chef Pat learned the secrets of Madame Oster's gingerbread (very different from Americanized gingerbread). And, she spent time with Christophe, learning the finer science of chocolates, learning to smell the amazing flavors that are possible when making chocolates.
This once in a lifetime opportunity for these priivate classes were arranged by Melissa Joachim at Tour de Forks.
